Hope is a local fashion blogger that contacted my GF and I about working together on a photoshoot. For the past couple of years it feels like I've been doing nothing but weddings, so it was great going out and doing something different again. Please let me know what you think and feel free to critique the photos.

these are good.
#1 I think the location works. The only thing that I think is distracting is that lone green plumbing fixture. Although it balances the bright and contrast of the wardrobe. It takes away the exclusivity of what you are showcasing...which is obviously fashion. The framing is a bit skewed. I think this would work without the slight tilt. I'm a good fan of flares, but I think it would look better if it's toned down a bit.

#2 looks good... again the green plumbing fixture. Her right hand is positioned awkward. The highlight on her right cheekbone is overpowering... if she turned her head to the left a bit and get that right amount of highlight..that would have been perfect.

#3 rim lighting would have been better if it was evenly distributed just to really separate her from the BG. It would also be nice to see more of her right hand too.

#4 the play of DOF is good. But for editorial/fashion shots, it's not really common to see it IMHO since you are showcasing fashion.... it's all about selling the product.

these are my opinions... take it with a grain of salt.

over all good job. :)

I can't disagree with Phil's excellent observations but I still enjoyed this series very much. I spent more time viewing these then I usually do. Love the quality of light and the rich colors. Nice job.
