nice action but these shots look pretty wonky compared to what im used to seeing. they arent as sharp and clean as what you normally post here. might be me though

LOL...he is shooting at ISO 8,000 and 12,800. I hope that is not considered great lighting. :D

Great angle and timing for the capture of #8...face,eyes, ball AND nothing touching the floor. You even have some reflection in there too.

I agree. Rather noisy in a couple but then again, it's extremely high ISO, to be expected I guess. I would crop them differently as well.

I would have to agree here, the noise doesn't bother me especially at those iso's as much as the soft focus on some of the shots. Not sure of your camera lens combo, but will assume the camera was your MKIV and you were on center point.
The 1st photo the focus was on #14, #2 the focus was on the ball, #7 focus on #11 and #8 focus fell on the ball again.
