Shot at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Purple fringing is cause by black lights.

Yep, managed to pick up a pair of male and female Harlequin ducks and about 300 Brant. I'd say it was worth a 5 minute detour :) (not to mention the 100's of loons I didn't have the time to glass. Sidenote: There is a Yellow-billed loon in Ilwaco, Wa. if anyone happens to be up there. It's coming up on a month of hanging in the boat basin.)
