I am a member of a big computer forum, and I see tons of issues with OCZ SSD's. Stick with Intel, Crucial, or Samsung. Sandforce controllers are just bad. Tiger Direct has the Crucial 128gb SSD for 149 right now. 7D / 70-200 F4L IS / 400 5.6L / 50mm 1.8 / 18-55 Kit / CS5 plus other software.

It makes me a bit nervous. Sandisk makes a 120 GB SSD now that is about a $1/GB regular price. We all know Sandisk makes good memory chips, and the reviews are quite good: http://www.tigerdirect.com …?EdpNo=1413000&CatId=5300 Nice price but it is a lot slower than the Corsair. I have a C300 and it is twice as fast. The goal of th SSD is speed to I would look elsewhere. Like this one 5DM3 lover

Sequential numbers are nice to look at but pretty deceiving because what are you going to put on the other end of the IO that can read or write at more than about 100MB/s? So the only thing that can generate 500MB/s is going to be another fast SSD or a benchmark test. Random IOPS are about 80 on a 7200RPM drive, so even a crappy SSD is going to be 100 times or more faster. Taylor
