Will an external hard drive work as a scratch disk with my pc, CS5 (I have a Seagate and a Verbatim used for storage on my desk)?
Or must it be something more spohisticated?
Thanks

As Disrup mentions, it's best to go with Esata or USB 3.0 if your machine can support it. I've actually got a second internal HD for my scratch disk that works very well. GEAR LIST
