Saw this bag browsing the f-stop website. Two sizes 15 or 18 that corresponds to the laptop size it can hold. Looks very nice like all of f-stops products. I currently use a Guru and am a huge fan since getting my bag last year. Just thought I'd let others know who might be looking for this type of shoulder bag (million dollar home like).

And the good new is that they have Healthy stock of this bag (a rarity for f-stop bags). Also they have added a new plum color which looks really nice although maybe more for the females out there. I'm not sure if I could rock the plum or not:lol:

They also have a new bag the Literoom roller (http://fstopgear.com …/mountain/literoom-roller (external link))to just carry ICUs onto a plane with the idea of then checking the backpack shells. Interesting idea for travelling pros with a lot of stuff.

Overall, cool stuff and here's hoping they improve the stock status of these bags.

What is the point if they are always unavailable? Sometimes I wonder if they do not update the inventory status. It might be my luck but at least 2-3 times I went there to order, it was out of stock and went with think tank. So far I am happy with my choice.

Nothing wrong with ThinkTank, great bags for quality and function but they look like typical ugly camera bags. When I ordered my Guru it was listed as in stock and shipped immediately. The new bags are all in stock. The larger bags are all in stock and the only bags out of stock right now are the Loka and Guru. Sure its annoying if you really need the bag soon but trust me its worth the wait.

Agree with the thinktank styling.

I don't understand how so many people have issues with them. I wanted an f-stop bag for a while, but they were OOS, so I just waited for their email telling me they had stock again, ordered, and got the bag in Hong Kong a week later.
I suppose you're right about people in a hurry, but really whats the hurry in buying a bag unless its your first bag ever (which I doubt considering the price)?

I'm a big fan of BOTH thinktank (I'm an affiliate) and f-stop. My general feeling it think tank makes great camera bags, functionality amazing, but yes, for the most part they look like camera bags (even though they claim they're stealth). I LOVE their retro line, and their airport series is fantastic for travelling.... But their bags don't leave much room (or any really) for non-photo gear.

f-stop makes outdoor adventure bags. If you're an active person who also wants to bring a camera, f-stop is for you. That's for their mountain series though, I know the bag in the OP is their new urban line. But f-stop to me is all about. Go on a hike, take all the gear you need for a hike, also bring a camera... Their new urban line seems to be to just sell bags that are useful to a broader range of people IMHO?

as for f-stops availability, it's always been an issue. For years. Seems like they're always selling more than they can order. That's partially because they're more popular than they think, but I'd bet it's also because they're trying to make sure they don't sit on a lot of inventory. They're also a small company in the scheme of things, so I know they're at the back of the line in the production schedules overseas (a fact of life over there that they can't control).

as for the new roller, I'm not sold on it. I like the fact you can pull your ICU from your bag and check the bag. But I already bought a pelican for this duty. Had I not, I'm still not sure it's a better choice. Yes you have to store the pelican once you get where you're going, but at least if you get in a situation where you MUST check your ICU, in a pelican with a TSA lock it's much safer? Seems like a better option to me. Plus my pelican (and I got it with the insert with dividers since it was only $20 more) is about half the cost of the f-stop roller...

I agree both brands are totally different like apples to oranges. Actually I dont think anything comes close to fStop.

Thanks! Had a love-hate relationship with a TTRetro10; sold it. I didn't like the raincover; many people use the bag and like it. Just a poor choice for me. I have 3 other TT bags that are perfect for me.
I shall take a look; interested in learning more about the weight and size of the bag. edit--size and weight are in the link to f/stop.

The design of the Ando definitely looks more appealing than a Thinktank, but quite pricey as well isn't it?

I love the design and look of f-stop bags. Owned both a loka and a tilopa for a time. Had to wait months to get them.

Went to buy an Ando today and they're out of stock until end of May.

What?

I wish this company would get with the program. They make good stuff, they just need to start taking the market seriously and step up to the plate with their manufacturing practices. All the lag time is surely making them bleed new customers.

Which Pelican did you buy for which ICU?

I don't have an ANDO, but I do have the Kenti and it would carry that no problem. Also have the Mindshift Panorama and I believe it would carry that also ( I can fit a 70-200, 5dIII w/ a 24-105 attached and a small flash in the rotating beltpack part and leave a good amount of space in the topzip portion).

Do you have a pic of this setup? I didn't realized the smaller Panorama belt pack unit could hold that much. Good to know.
