My goodness, the depth of field at f/1.2 is miniscule! I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me when I first saw that shot!

Yes, in the background is a B&H salesman (there are no salesWOMEN) wearing their uniform, the green vest with the B&H logo on the back. The DOF is amazing.

Sorry, Gang. This was done in a hurry. The two pieces of equipment not in boxes are my 1Dm2 and my 85 f/1.2L for which I have no boxes. The black box is the new one.

someone clearly spends too much time collecting boxes. so you didn't fancy a nikon one tucked in there somewhere? I think I know who's providing at least one canon employee his wages for the past 5 years!
seriously though where do you store all your lenses? mush have an entirely separate room just for those!

Well, it's a start.

Thanks, Dwight. You might not be quite as heavy in lenses, but you sure have a lot of other stuff yourself. (I've seen some of it.)

Belmondo, Well, yes, I have a few things here and there ... the only box you have that I envy is that 500mm f/4 but it is on my equipment budget for next calendar year. And OTOH my Epson 7800 box would have taken up your whole counter top ... too bad it was too big to store, eh? :-)

Belmondo, the only box you have that "I" envy is every one that I don't have.:)

Oh, and one more thing. My 14 year old daughter just saw the picture of
Mt. Canonmore. She envies your cow atop your cabinets.:o

Everybody keep your fingers crossed. I may be adding another box to the collection. My wife was asking me what other lens I wanted, and I accidentally blurted out the 85 f1.2. hehehehe

I passed your daughter's compliments along to the cow. She was quite pleased.

If you get the 85 f/1.2 with a box, you're a box ahead of me. I bought mine used from Samy's Camera, and it didn't have a box.

BTW, if I really had a sickness, I'd sell my used lens, and buy a new one just so I would have the box.

Ummmm. You wouldn't consider selling your box, would you?

Belmondo, make me an offer on my 85mm f/1.2L box ... if it is enough to get the 85mm f/1.8 I will part with the 1.2 box! You can pick it up the next time your bride decides to clean out my casino! :-)
