Thanks Justin and Killer.

Never printed anything except Costco's style stuff.

This one will be printed up in a pro lab on photo art paper. Not sure what to use but will discuss that with the lab guy. The learning curve was pretty steep and still have to do a quick study on pro quality paper. :)

3 I took this morning on my walk home from a final for school. I love successful trips like this because I walk past these things almost every day.

Thanks KA, nope not a pet. Found in a bush a couple of days ago. Had 7 keepers out of about 30 shots taken. All posted here hehe.

Nice shots Justin, like #1. At first was not sure what to make of 2 and 3. The titles cleared that up. #3 is quite creative. :}

#2 for me bobo, they both look awesome!

Agreed. I think there's too much space in #1, but that's just me, and you didn't ask for critique. A rectangular print, like #2 would fit perfectly on my wall, with others.

Bobo, I highly recommend the metallic paper. All images look outstanding on it. The lab I use is Millers. They do outstanding work, and the prices aren't too bad.

Great dragon series Bobo. As stated... that last one is some dimensional I feel like I can feed him through my monitor!

Also, put me in for a vote on #2 for that print as well.

Thanks Killer, WR, Med and Jamz.

Dragon - he was there looking for something to catch judging by how he kept scanning the surroundings. Unfortunately did not see a big pile of poo and stepped right into it. It was STINKY. So had to rush off to a nearby stream to wash off my shoes. That took a while and of course when I returned he was gone. Shots of him catching something would have been soooooooooo awesome.

Prints -

I wanted to give my friend a choice between square and long. There was no way to avoid the empty space on the squar unfortunately. I did have a costco style print done on matte and it does look much better then it does here. Anyway he decides what he wants.

About paper - I once had a print done on aluminum paper though all I did then was the pp and the pro lab friend did the final cropping and other finishing touches. It did turn out quite well.

Another friend suggested using Hahnemuhle 308gm Photo Rag paper. Have no idea what that is and will research it later. The metallic paper option is definitely in the list. Thanks for the reminder.

Finally did it. Decided to go brand new, partly to support local business, but also because of the warranty. I have bad luck when it comes to short warranty periods. The 550D now goes to the wife, but I'm sure I'll still get to use it.

I love the 7D so far, just holding it (again). I'm waiting for the battery to charge, then to go out and get some shots with it today. Next up, a remote release and grip with spare batteries.

Ditto that. :(

I decided to skip the 7D entirely and go with the 5D3 but waiting for a price drop. Even my camera shop friend told me to wait. :)
