Was helping my mom clean out her attic over the weekend and came across these 'vintage' cameras. My first shot with my newly aquired nifty fifty...@ f1.8 of course!

nice finds! wish I could find some more old cameras. Great picture as well, the blues and purples in the background are nicely achieved. You'll use the 50mm a lot, trust me :)

I live only a handful of blocks away from center city, but never venture over late hours. Last night was my first time taking such shots in the city.

Thanks, Peter, J. Wolfe and Shortwave. Actually, my grandfather was the photographer and these got passed onto my mom when he passed 20+ years ago and have been buried in the attic ever since. She had no clue they were up there. My interest came from a high school photography class I took back ...gasp...in the late 70's ('79 I think). Also came across a projector. Don't remember what brand or type though. That's another weekend!

One more from last night. Thanks for the comments above guys. Night life in the city is fun yet challanging to shoot. Scenes really do come to life.

Need an opinion on this guys. Does it look too cooked? I kinda dig it. Shot this today. Hand held 8 shot stitch. Used a Color EFX 4 preset on it that I have rarely used. Not sure if I should attack this in another direction.

Look good to me. Might be an optical illusion but it seems to be tilted a bit down on the left.

Looks good to me too Grumpy. Nice shot. Those clouds pop and the trees looks sharp and dimensional too. Agree with Bobo on the horizon tilted slightly to left but may be landscape? nice work
