Love the night shots... free lensing with the 50...? or?

Yup the 50. Its difficult to get what you want without using a tripod, and the focus is so small I really don't see any way of achieving these shots a lot of the time at first glance. When everything is a great distance away it makes it difficult for the 50mm to perform the way it needs to. The key is to look like a goof and just stand their moving the lens every way possible until somehow it works out lol.

Some fireworks were randomly going off at 11:30 tonight over the Ben Franklin Bridge. I saw it as the perfect opportunity to get some shots, you don't see this very often.

Need an opinion on this guys. Does it look too cooked? I kinda dig it. Shot this today. Hand held 8 shot stitch. Used a Color EFX 4 preset on it that I have rarely used. Not sure if I should attack this in another direction.

I had chance to play while he was at school Been using the new 7D & Nikon lately but still love the chance to use the 550 & try to get a few decent macros.
At the minuet I'm trying new styles of photography, I don't bother with flickr or post on any forums much these days ( nothing worth while posting ) you guys have moved on and improved way beyond my level but I love to view the awesome work everyone here posts up...........
