ID appreciated.

Taken with an AF defective macro lens. All manual focus and close crops.
Was quite amazed at the amount of detail the lens could pick up even at 150mm.

Thanks Killer, first shots with that macro lens and it turned out to have a defective AF. :(

Still wondering it the shots would have been better taken with the usual zoom that I use.

Natural? LOL, that describes you and quite a few others here. Natural I certainly am not. Each shot for me is still a struggle to get exposure right.

Those were test shots in the camera shop with the Sigma 150/2.8.

The watch shot had not been post-processed in any way except a minor contrast adjustment in ACR. The no-photo shot has gone through some minimal pp.

Here's another of our orchids. I try to photograph each one as they bloom. This was take in Raw with Canon T2i, EFS 15-85 60mm f8 Bracket +/- 2 EV Photomatix Pro, Photoshop CS4 Natural Light from window.
