Holy cow, Bobobird, your macros are amazingly sharp! Very cool...Macros is the reason I got into photography in the first place.

Radlation, intersting pottery/ceramic pic. I was reading up on the history of Chinese porcelain, so I found the pic pretty cool.

Telefragger, your wife, with the dog pic is my favorite...Love little doggies.

Marlfox, the ladies' portraits are beautiful as ever. I'd like to try shooting models sometime.

Setup is fairly simple, just two elinchrom strobes at the front- one in a deep octa camera right as the main, one with the crappy small square softbox you get with the strobe camera left as fill. Behind is just a constant light that's in the studio as a hair. Need to get a third strobe and a couple of strip boxes and a beauty dish before I'm happy lol.

And model mayhem can be a great place to get them. All the girls I shoot have accounts....I just know them through dating a make up artist which makes life easier lol.

Went over to my mom's yesterday to help her in the yard. Brought the camera along of course...managed a couple of snaps while I was there. Crops on these....
