I like how the left (on the right) leg is bent in like a woman in a fashion shoot. Good expression from this bird.

This is one of the rare HDR images that I like. Nice work. No offense to anyone, but I just do not like 99.9% of the HDR I see. Not my bag. It's like Dorito's, or Nirvana -- just grates on me.

This bike is good :)

Thanks Waterrockets I am glad you like it, I tend to find a simple subject for my HDR.

Thanks Jamz. Short of a total background replacement that is as far as my limited pp skills will take them.

Well there is always next spring - they return every year to the same tree so only 11 months to go...

Thanks jamz, were not nearly as difficult as the owl shots but still problematic due to the dark corner that the nest was in.

But have tots of keepers so not practical to pp them all. May do a few more later.

Yeah, that last bird on the right doesn't look too impressed with you bobo. Don't take it personally.

A few shots from this past weekend. The waterfall shots were my first attempt using a new variable neutral density filter.

Due to the unpredictable nature of birds of prey, both of these are a little oof, but I rarely get the chance to capture many in the wild.

Deleted the bike hdr on the previous page since it is too small...so I decided to show the 1024 image size.

I'm jealous! I've wanted to get one of those. Nice photos...

this is the first time in a long time that my wife sat still for a portrait and didn't complain:
