Whoa. You
really gotta stay on top of this thread. Two days go by and it takes me an hour to go through the photos. Great job guys.
I tried to comment on everyone's photo... some of y'all are in here twice. I'm sincerely sorry if I missed anyone...
Why? The old stuff works really well

I like it. I think it works better for the indoor shots. The kitty diptych is neat-o... any reason for choosing 2 frames instead of 1,3,4,5, etc?
I like #1 and #2(!) but I never get to see horses rolling around so that has the most "WOW!" factor for me. It would be interesting to see that same scene with different (longer) shutter speeds and get some motion blur in there.
I have been really impressed with your photographic eye recently. I'm partial to "threes" and I agree that the white streak should stay in "geometry." In fact, you should figure out what caused it and hone that skill

I smell a whole Crayola series of birds

"Splash of heaven" seems to be really well balanced. I really dig the People of Montreal series you've been into. The one in this post (man on train) is really cool because you get a quick glimpse into his life... so the included window in the photo is very symbolic.
Wow, that's a crazy little pattern he's carrying around on his back. That's a sexy/soft background he's walking on... that could be tough to pull off in a macro shot.
I've been eyeballing those lenses... do you have problems getting it focused?
The little boy with the cowboy hat is adorable

I remember back when a simple soda would make me that happy!
I've been meaning to try this. Did you use Manual mode?
B&W nature shots rock! And I like the emotion little kids show... is the little girl screaming or yawning?
Extra creamy smooth. The one with the airplane is especially cool. Are those colors SOOC?
Brilliant! hope you had a relaxing trip

Very,
very good series. #2 works especially well IMO
soooooo jealous... do you follow Syl Arena's work? Ever since I saw his stuff with multiple 580s I have wanted to get a bunch more flashes...
have you played with the HSS + 3 flashes? Now THAT sounds like fun!!!
Uhhhh... that looks scary close!
The tints work really well for this type of shot. Nice contrast between the detail shot and the "big picture" shot.
perfectly matched colors. It looks like it could be one of those paint sample color-theme photos.
Nice soft, feminine color pallete with great lighting.
Ha! that's cool!
In the same vein as Kukulkan's little girl photo, here is a photo of a very animated little boy I know:
