Just awesome. Whats the lens?

Thanks, 60mm macro. Not ideal for these type of shots i know, but it makes a perfect companion for walks with my dog ( fits in my pocket ) and the 550D (T2i ).........

Sure seems ideal from the results :)

By the way, do you guys always shoot in RAW and then post-process, or are there occasional Jpegs?
(and sorry, don't mean to be bogging down the thread, will try to post images along with my questions :D)

Where do you usually find these lenses though? And how do you know if its good or not before you buy it? :)
Do you just research what old lenses were good and keep a look out for them somewhere?

Awesome work DT, Marm and Peter!

I got them from ebay and do a little research around the web specially here.

Thanks guys. A storm was rolling in so I ran outside and snagged a photo or 4.
I sure have enjoyed the convenience of the T2i & pancake combo.

Here's one I took a few days ago using the same combo... I just now got around to processing it.

Which pancake do you have?
By the way what is that last shot meant to be? Is it water droplets on a car bonnet?

Still can't get my head round the fact that you swapped your 100mm macro for the 60mm. The more I use the 60mm the more I think that the 100mm would be better.

That is the Canon EF 40mm STM pancake lens. I like it.
The last shot was dew drops on my picninc table with some nice light from a sunrise.

And i posted a new project on behance , i think the idea of projects and concepts can really be helpful for photographers to focus on themes , other than just shoot a little bit of everything , at least for a change .
