Which pancake do you have?
By the way what is that last shot meant to be? Is it water droplets on a car bonnet?

Fun series. Like it.

That's a cracker grumpy. Really superb colours.

That fly looks like he has a chrome-dipped face. He's like a terminator.

Still can't get my head round the fact that you swapped your 100mm macro for the 60mm. The more I use the 60mm the more I think that the 100mm would be better.

Like I said, the 60 just gets used for walking, I now have the 180 for macro but get better results at the minuet with the 60.
Another terminator........

I'm always browsing through this topic to learn a few things about shooting settings and I want to know if everyone is always in full manual? I know there are some shots that are a rare catch and not much time to adjust settings but is mostly everyone here really good at adjusting iso, shutter speed and aperture right off the bat?

I'm not really good at adjusting all 3, or even 2. I usually shoot in Av or Tv, with auto ISO, or sometimes even in sports/portrait/noFlash modes.
But again, i'm still learning, so maybe some day I'll be quick enough and know enough to be able to adjust 2-3 variables constantly.

i'm 90% using the Av mode , 9% full manual and 1% Tv , and most of the time i choose the iso i want , especially if it's dark but it really depends on what you're shooting , i mostly do outdoor / street photography , where my sceneries change every minute , so for me to re-adjust the shutter and Aperture in the M mode every time i change the subject , it's gonna take lots of time + the camera exposure is usually close to what i really want , if not , i use the exposure compensation .

It depends on what and where you are shooting. I use a good mix of Manual, Av and Tv. Whether or not I set ISO, or let the camera choose just depends on what I'm looking at.

I'm usually asleep during most nights at sunset because I work the overnight shift, happened to be up tonight driving around killing time and happened upon this swamp.

Thanks! I deleted the original post because I didn't realize it was going to post the pictures so gigantic!! I just redid it with some smaller sized photos.
