I saw your dragonfly shot in the 7D thread. Spectacular! How are you enjoying the 7D so far? Yesterday was a good day for me too. I haven't had a chance to go out like that for several weeks.

7d I love the continues burst mode and the AF features, I am still learning it, I already have a set up in custom function for landscapes, BIF with the other 2 custom setting. I am still trying to figure out this camera but so far I like it, I have to say due to the burst mode my keeper rate improved a lot. I already upgraded the latest firmware also. So the burst mode went up from 15 to 25 in raw shooting.

Thanks I am glad you like the dragonfly.

I hear ya...the first time I spotted this bird I was trying out my 70-200 f4 for first time and thought something was wrong with lens! i never saw something so smooth without any detail in feathers. i love the coloring of these guys though. and yeah, the smoothness too!

As far as I'm concerned, if you leave a gate to the track open wide enough to fit a car though, it's the schools fault ;-)a Still had to rush it so the lighting wasn't perfect but we made it somewhat work.

On a different thread someone asked about my little camera bag. I went a step further and showed everything I put into it. I figured I'd post it here too.

There is no brand name on the bag; it has 1 main pocket and 3 smaller pockets. There is a shoulder strap on it... it's just tucked behind the bag. Total man-purse :(
Here's what I stuff in there:
-T2i (the performance to weight ratio of the Rebels is astounding :))
-EF 40 f/2.8 STM pancake (again, the performance to weight ratio is astounding...)
-1 circular polarizer (for bluer skies, less glare, less haze, etc.)
-1 neutral density filter (adds the capability of longer shutter speeds or wider f stop)
-some extension tubes (these little guys add incredible versatility while not taking up much space or addind much weight)
-a Canon remote trigger thingy (I didn't have one of these for the longest time. Now I can't imaging NOT having it... handy little guy and only $20)
-1 powerful flash (a flash adds soooooo much versatility to a camera!!!!!!)
-2 transceivers (to wirelessly sync and fire the flash)
-1 tiny flash stand (so the flash can stand up on a flat surface)
-1 bag of Bongo Ties (to hold stuff to stuff... usually the flash is getting attached to a pole or something)
-1 eyedropper (you didn't think those "dewdrops" were there when I found the leaf, did you?)
-1 lens cleaning cloth (not pictured)

With this bare bones, light weight kit I am ready for many different types of situations.

Things I'd like to add:
-a beanbag for an improvised tripod. For right now the camera bag does well enough.
-a different flash that is HSS capable so I can really overpower the sun and so I can do some light painting.
-some lightweight flash modifiers like diffusers, flags, snoots, gels, etc. I have some of those but they are not travel-ready right now :(
-a variable ND filter because it is more useful than a fixed 4 stop ND filter
-a full frame sensor in a Rebel body... come on Canon :!::rolleyes:

Marm no need to add more if this is the stuff you have been using for those excellent beautiful pics you have been posting.
