I can't compete with that, but I did get to spend the evening photographing another event. This time I had to suffer through going to nine different restaurants and sampling/photographing 27 different appetizers and 27 beers. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it. ![]() So here's a duck confit salad crostini, barbecue shrimp, and Roquefort cheese and green apple. Sounds like a tough job, Maru!

Hah, oh man, the beer. I can't even begin to remember them all. Fortunately I took notes, and the beer in that particular photo was a Belgian tripel.

Sounds delicious!!

The increased field of view is a big plus for me, and the bokeh is great. I can't keep myself from shooting with my 50mm 1.8 because it's just so nice to see. The LCD is definitely a big step backwards, and no live-view might be something you have to get used to, but for me, it's worth the quality of the pictures I've been getting. The build of it is a great step too. The 5Dc is bigger, heavier, and much more solid than the T2i (which I'm a fan of the extra weight). When I say this thing is built like a tank, I mean a BIG TANK. For me, I'm used to the screen and stuff already, so next for me is lenses, and then maybe a 5D2. In conclusion, screen is a step back, everything else is a step forward. To me it's worth it. Thanks man. I think I'll buy one for sure. http://jontakesphotos.com
