Saturday from 11:45 to 12:30, I had 45 minutes of parking on Main St. so not much time to shoot but I got a few good ones. I was shooting from the pier by the lifeguard tower, good spot but the sun was back lighting the surfers and their faces were dark.

Cool shots Peter, just out of interest what is #2? Great perspective on these............

Peter- I like #2 in your recent post; strong lines and perspective.
It would have been interesting if you could have caught a bird or a plane in the center of the frame.

jamganz wrote in post #14077503 (external link)
ditto....they almost look like giant film strips/negatives! cool shot

Thanks everyone.

These are kind of Jamganz described, they look like a giant film strips metal made, lined up like a fence with about 1 ft spacing between them they look wider in the picture but they are really closed to each other. This is in Seattle Center.

Just grabbed the 1.8 nifty 50! It's my second lens and wow it is a totally new experience. This is my 2nd purchase with Unique Photo and I highly recommend them. Here's a few shots I took around the house with it.

Hi T2i ok stopped snowing during my lunch time but still decided to go to Marina but no Eagles so took pictures anyway of some ducks and even though it is not too bright so far the autofocus did not hunt like crazy I have it center focus point so far AF is fast with the TC on. I like the fact that that the AF is not hunting like crazy plus I like what I see in my 2Ti LCD SCREEN but of course it maybe a different IQ when it is transferred to my laptop. I am glad I bought the 1.4x II TC now I just need to get used to this shooting handheld because it feels heavy with the TC on plus the 300mm. I better start lifting weights. ;)

For a second hand tc? Around 200 - 250? Maybe. B&H now is 309 but amazon is 389 for a brand new item. it depends on the conditions. Mine was brand new I got it for a really nice deal from a fellow member here. I've been waiting for a better deal for a few weeks even put up an ad in cl that I Want to buy canon tc for 200 that was even before amazon seller raised the price from 309 to 389.00. Goodluck.
