Just grabbed the 1.8 nifty 50! It's my second lens and wow it is a totally new experience.

Primes are fun; nice photos.

Well Peter what are your first thoughts on the converter? Those shots look sharp, but looks like a flash was used, how many stops you losing?

Yesterday recieved my Canon 1.4x II TC my plan is to go the marina hoping to see the eagles but woke this morning with snow on the ground and still snowing outside maybe tomorrow will be a better day to try it out. Snow a few days before spring in Seattle is not normal.....:(

That stinks about your weather, it's 75 here!! looking forward to seeing some new eagle shots.

killer-awesome bug shots

Caleb- your landscapes are real good

I am just using f5.6 first since is indoor handheld...Can't wait for the nice weather. I am so excited I went to the marina and tried some ducks although it was overcast and snowed several times today I was able to get some shots. I am happy like I said the AF did not hunt like crazy considering the bad weather.

I love it I am satisfied with the shots I took much more for the nicer weather coming our way.

300mm F4L with TC. This is my first time using this outdoor today was overcast but I am happy with the result. Nothing sharpening is done just added border and lens correction and cropped.
