Autofocus on the T2i is like a dream; it's so fast and so quiet! And I don't have any USM lenses! And the shutter on the Canon is far quieter. Also I stepped up to 18MP from 12MP on the K-x.

Pentax does has Canon beat in interface, IMHO.
Navigating menus
Viewing/deleting multiple images
Swapping between shutter speed and aperture in manual
... all easier in Pentax. Pentax also has better high-ISO, catch-in-focus for MF lenses, the Green Button, and artsy RAW to JPG tools. Additionally, trying old K-mount lenses
was fun.

All that said, I love love love my T2i, and I ain't goin' back!

Hi guys, I've been a lurker here for a while and I've been drooling over the t2i for a while too. I finally picked one up today packaged with the kit lens and a 55-250mm lens. I went for a walk around the city today to get accustomed to the camera and settings (I come from a Canon FTb SLR and even then I didn't really know what I was doing.)

So, without further ado, here are a couple of pics from a noob.

Killer with the KILLER flies. WOW that last one is like WOW. I have this feeling that this year you are going to outdo yourself.

Justin - nice city shot but you might need to do a bit of perspective adjustment to straighten the buildings. One thing you could do to minimise this would be to take a series of shots in a vertical orientation and then stitching them as if doing a pano.
