Hi there.
Just upgraded from a XSI. I got a lot to learn with this one. So far it is a really nice piece of equipment. Can't wait to get going.

Enjoy it - :) My cousin's son has one of these and takes some amazing pictures with it!

I like to push buttons on thingies that take pictures. Sometimes I like to push other buttons, too.
I only bite on the second Tuesday of every week, usually only mean people - they kinda taste like chicken...
You can call me Wuzzi

Pop on over to http://www.learn.usa.canon.com …s/eos_60d_tutorials.shtml (external link). You'll find on this Canon site numerous online tutorials on most of the functions available on the 60D. You can also download the tutorials and put them on an SDHC memory card (8 GB needed in total) and watch/listen on your 60D screen.

Thank you for the welcome.
I actually started photography back in the early 90'S with an old fully manual camera. Loved it so much I went and bought a rebel. Took some classes at the local collage. Upgraded to an A2e. Lol I ever heard was digital would never replace film. With kids and all, didn't have time for serious photography any longer. Fast forward to 2010. Trip to Egypt was a good excuse to get a new rebel xsi. This is when I actually joined this forum. I read and searched a ton. Funny how people ask the same things.
