I believe that Adobe will run the normal upgrade route in going from 3 to 4 but the next incarnation will be anybody's guess.

All of Adobe could be on a subscription basis whenever LR5 comes along.

Thanks Jen. I was planning on picking this up from Adorama yesterday, but the price went back up a little last night before I could finalize the purchase. Even if there is no upgrade path, I'll be happy with v3.x. I'm getting really lucky on these specials. I got both PSE and PE 8 for $20 on a sale.

Got word from Helen that they were going to honor the $79 price for those that got the odd price last night after 7pm EST. Now the question is if they will price match after the fact or see a lot of cancellations.


If you can read this, you don't need a macro | 7D + 5DIII + Waaaay too much spent....
