Reddish Egret Snatches Up Breakfast

I took this image a few months ago early one morning. I was wading in the water with the Reddish and unfortunately (oddly) he was walking towards me and got to close. By this point I was stomach deep and hand holding the camera and lens so didn't want to back anymore into the water. Enjoy.


7d. 600mm. f/4. 1/1600. iso 400. handheld.

Thanks Don. I dont mind getting wet, the part that bugs me was the long walk back through the sand and getting my truck filthy because of it
