For some of that all you have to do is select , drag the selection loop over to what you want to copy and then do copy and move the selection back and paste . Same thing with the water puddle and the girl . However i have heard from our technology dept which one of our techs went to a course on the new Cs6 out in California . But he told me there is a techniques that will actually take a photo that is slightly out of focus and split the image and move sections back together for a perfect focus and this is done with out any kind of sharpening what so ever . Other words a Picture Perfect Focus with Cs6 . Now whether i believe it or not til i see it with my own eyes it's hard for me to believe but he did spend a week with Cs6 in California for a training course so sounds like that right there will make it worth the upgrade when available !

There are no courses on the "new CS6". Your tech guy is telling tales. :)

I beg your pardon . I work in the education field , we serve all W.Texas in our district to all schools here in W. Texas . We have a fairly nice technology dept of people , we provide internet service to most of the schools , we get top technology info as well as software before the public does and we buy Adobe software by the thousands $$ . We get info ahead of public as well as training on select software before you get your first sneak peak . So unless you actually work for Adobe and know something we don't ..... then it's best you get your info correct before you you make quotes like above . This is my work place if you care to check it out : http://www.esc18.net/ (external link)

BTW our training courses are not for the general public that our people go to ;) . Have a nice day !

Deblur sneak peak. The approach estimates the point spread function (blur due to the optical system) as well as motion blur trajectory and then does magic to restore the image.

Photoshop CS6 is still operating under the NDA for anyone that is participating in the prerelease program. While it is ok for Adobe managers to release sneak peeks those that are in the program are forbidden from discussing it. FWIW, I am in the program and I have not seen any courses being given.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

I never said anything about an actual course where you go for a long length of time . I know that one of our technology people DID go to Cal. lately for a week class in which Cs6 was discussed . How much i do not know cause i personally was not there . How much was discussed i do not know , i was not there . But Cs6 was discussed and alot of info was given to all who attended the class . He did not discuss the training program to me he only mentioned to me that part about the Focus technique to bring about Perfect Focus to an image which is out also on the sneak preview which kirkt posted a link to . Did you go to the training class in Cal. ?? Just curious but would not really matter cause no laws have been broken . Just that i have mentioned a new technique being new in Cs6 that has a sneak preview available for viewing .

Tell your friend to respect the NDA he signed. :) He will know what I mean.

That deblur video is only a "tech demo" and will not be in CS(next), per Bryan O'Neil Hughes.
