I was set free for a little while today and decided to take advantage of the situation.
There was very little sunlight to be found.
I did manage to locate an American Robin.
I am hoping it is a sign of Spring, but living here in New York for so long, I am a bit pessimistic about it.

Three good shots. That Cardinal looks unhappy!

Good shots. I like the Titmouse the best. Yes the Cardinal looks unhappy because he may know spring is still a ways off. I hope he's wrong! :)

Thanks Grizz, kp, and Levina!
It has been slim pickings around here lately.
Were into those transitional months between Winter and Spring.
I got out for a bit this morning and could only find a handful of gulls and mallards.
COME ON WARBLER SEASON!

Excellent shooting Mr. Shawn! I'd say you and your style get along with the overcast just fine.
The Robin in the first image is one of the best Robins I think I've ever seen. I'm not having much luck locally at all, and the ones I do see look a little haggard. Yours looks to be in great shape.
Your Tufted Titmouse has struck a familiar, attentive pose and you capture both him and the Cardinal in fine fashion. Keep your fingers crossed for Spring though - ;)

Shawn, if I weren't so happy for you, then I'd be jealous! You took the opportunity and made great things of it. What beauties and variety in our NY winter. That Titmouse is adorable.
