resizing images in the [img] tag

So forgive my ignorance, but because I don't know exactly, I'm asking the question. On my website I host my images in a larger size than what is allowed to be embedded here so would like to use an inline resize to get around this. BBcode allows an image to be resized using [IMG=widthxheight] but this does not seem to be supported here.

Is there anyway to do this so that I can embed from my site and still be within the rules?

No this forum do not support automatic resizing. You need to to that yourself.

I believe that Flickr lets you link to alternative image sizes, although I don't know the particulars because I'm not a Flickr user.

yea...they did and I liked that function. No worries tho, I discovered that piwigo does create a 'web size' image when you upload and I figured how to link to that. It's all good now
