A few from SEC swimming/diving tournament

I've had a lot of "firsts" in the last week or two... softball, baseball, tennis and now swimming. I found it pretty difficult to get interesting shots. For one, the floor is crowded so good angles are nearly impossible to get. Here are a few that stood out... not much in terms of action, but I like them. These were done with the University's gear: Nikon D3 and 300mm 2.8. We don't have enough glass to go around, so I might take my 400D/Sigma 70-200 tomorrow. This event lasts through Sunday, so I'll be getting plenty of practice. C&C welcomed and appreciated.

#2 is great.

I agree: nr 2 is a great one, nr 4 is nice too.

i like 1,2 and 4 best. i think you got interesting shots.

Thanks guys. Yeah, #2 is probably my top sports pic so far... I was very excited to see that playback on the lcd.

Here's a few more from tonight. I have swimming, one game of a baseball double header, then back to swimming tomorrow.

Too much space around the swimmer in nr 1 in my opinion, otherwise you're not going to show the action,the espressions etc...
