These are from our road trip to Colorado. Drove there with my wife and our Akita from Grand Rapids Michigan. Stayed with friends in Green Mountain Falls.

Taken with my favorite travel setup! Canon SL1 + Canon 24mm 2.8 stm

#1 Our American Akita, Maximus Decimus Meridius, trying to rest

#7 Driving into the sky! This was actually very scary on the way down...no railing and you couldn't see the ground if you pressed your face to the glass. My wife was taking pictures and was getting vertigo just looking out

I was in the passenger seat. I wasn't the one driving, but as this was shot in a moving vehicle I suspect it still qualifies?

6D; 24-70 2.8 II @ 35mm; 1/800 sec; f13; ISO 800

Taken on the Icefields Parkway, travelling south from Jasper to Banff, Alberta.

I wasn't driving either. Mine were taken while my husband was driving.

Does it count if someone else was driving?

I've walked those dunes. I wanted to get shots with virgin sand......where there were not thousands of foot prints, so I had to walk out close to half a mile. I've hiked in loose sand many times....but that sand is like baby powder. It is very difficult to walk in, not to mention when you come to a point where you have to climb up a dune..holy smokes. It just sucks the energy right out of you.

But, in the end.......
