Lens for JC Baseball

I have been offered the opportunity to sit in the home team's dugout during the game on Saturday to shoot pictures. What lens would be recommended from the following:

70-200 f2.8
100-400 f5.6

I am also going to bring my WA for any home run celebration at the plate shots. Look forward to any advice possible.

In terms shutter speeds what would be recommended? Would 1/500th be adequate?
