you got a smoking deal.
I will give you $450 for the setup right now. :p

as far as HIGH ISO handling of the t2i vs 50d, it is very small when you factor in something.

the pixel density of the 50d is lower, that means that you can shoot the same stuff at a lower shutter speed and still get crisp pictures. that lower shutter speed allows you to run a lower ISO. Therefore there is less need for high iso ability since the sensor allows for lower shutter speeds before soft pics come into play.
I have personally tried this.
I wouldnt mind a 50d at all. definitely over my t1i and if i had a t2i too.

Well, the Vagabond wasn't included in the deal, that was another 150... but I am putting it up for sale on here though I'd be just as happy keeping it. That would just mean that I would be tempted to invest in strobes and right now I don't have the money for that.

i wouldn't even think about it. hell, i even made that trade from a t2i to a 40d and even i think that was an upgrade. i can't stand rebels after using xxD/xD series.

update:

I have absolutely no regrets. 50D is an amazing camera... Best trade I've made (except for that one time I got a Charizard for an Electabuzz and Blastoise  ).

Anyway, you'll see me in the 50D user's thread from now on. Cheers

a xxd shutter is supposed to be rated for 100k clicks and rebels at 50k [at least when xti/40d were new] though canon seems to leave this spec off now - i'd trade the rebel for the 50d anytime but i use a dedicated video camera for the video work as i can't afford a 60x zoom lens on the dslr body

wants for Ls :D , now have 400do;500f4is,600f4 :cool: off to birding and airshows:):):)

The high ISO is slightly better SOOC on t2i, but still not good enough to use directly w/o post processing. The 50D low ISO on the other hand is a bit better, so noise is not a factor that should influence your decision. If you do not need video and do not mind carrying slightly bigger camera, 50d wins ...
