Hey all I just bought my first DSLR a week ago and I have been on here a lot. I also started reading a few books you all have pointed me towards. Anyhow I have a question about the flash. I have the Canon T2i and I wanted to know what would be a good flash to buy. I would like something that is affordable but not "cheap" if that makes sense. I am not looking into being pro or even semi pro just a fun hobby. So far everyone here has been so awesome so I thought I would ask you all to point me in the right direction. Thanks again =)

Brandi aka Help me!
Between my husband and myself: T2i gripped, Canon 7D, EFS 18-135 IS Macro 0.45/1.5ft, EFS 18-55mm IS Macro 0.25/0.8ft, EFS 55-250mm IS Macro 1.1/3.6ft, and 2 nifty fifties.

what's your budget! if you dont want to spend 300$+ i'd suggest yongnuo 565ex! it's around 150$ and that should get you started!

YongNuo is cheap, but great. There's the more reliable Nissin Di622 Mk2 which retails just under $200 at Amazon.

You can get used examples of the Canon 430ex II for around that much as well.
