It's available on Amazon right now for $159.99. It generally sits at about $189.99, so this is another $30 off the usual price. The lowest I've seen it was $149.99 back around the holidays.

*Keep in mind it is the Student and Teacher Edition.

You need to be a student or teacher and have to provide proof in order to get the activation key. It is also not eligible to be upgraded when a new release comes out, otherwise full functionality.

Wait! Don't order through Amazon! It's now available on Adobe's website for under $50! Use the promotional code: SAVE80EDU

Here's the link: https://store1.adobe.com …?store=OLS-EDU&PID=919776 (external link)

(This code works for all Adobe Student/Teacher editions as well.)

I'm anxious to see if my eligibility is validated and I actually get it for this price. I'm not so sure!

As for Bridge, I'm not sure about that either.

There are 2 ways to qualify for the Student/Teacher activation code.

One is to select from a list of schools provided in their activation program (colleges/universities) and enter your campus email address. It it matches what they have in the system xxxxxx@college name.edu then the activation code is almost automatically provided in an e-mail.

If the school is not in their e-mail system, you have to send in a copy of your student/faculty ID and a copy of pay stub or transcript or letter from the school and you will receive the activation code once confirmed. This method takes longer... a few days or longer depending on backlog.

Has anyone who ordered at the discounted prices actually received their serial numbers yet?

I placed my order nearly 36 hours ago using my .edu address (as opposed to the slower method of scanning a student ID/transcript), and still have not been contacted by Identit-E. If my order and others like it from before they revoked the coupon code are denied, I struggle to imagine ever purchasing another Adobe product. It's one thing to have a slip-up where a "too good to be true" price shows up for 20 minutes, but this deal went viral two nights ago and Adobe had no problem accepting likely tens or hundreds of thousands of orders over the ~24-36 hours that followed, before finally declaring it void today.
