Title says it all. Nice day today in NJ so i headed to Historic Park in Fort Lee, NJ. They have a really nice spot to take photos of the bridge from. This shot was taken with a ND 1.2 filter stacked with a CPL, my goal was to get some motion blur of the cars.

Very nice photo...Seems odd seeing a bridge shot from above the bridge and not below...This was a spot from the park?

yes this spot was in the park. The park is open from 8am until dusk. It was a little cold today but i plan on going back when its a bit warmer so i can walk the lower part.

I'm gonna have to head over there one day myself to take some shots there...When I'm passing one day (since I'm on the opposite side of the GW) I'll be sure to bring my gear with me

Nice shot! You will love walking the path under the bridge. I usually park at the Englewood Boat Basin and walk. It takes about 20 min and has many great views of the bridge. Watch out for ticks when it gets above 32 and the TSA will give you a hard time directly under the bridge. Not always but when you see the black helicopter flying low put your camera away.

Hi Steve,
I would ike to shoot the GW. Can you please give me directions to the park from NJ? Is there an address I can put into my GPS? Also, if the park closes at dusk is it possible to shoot a twilight shot there or are they strick about that policy? Thanks!

Makes for a great photo when they have the Americain Flag flying on the NJ tower side.
