First GIF with New Lens

I recently purchased a Canon 100-400 lens and finally got a decent day to try it out on some GIF. I managed to get what I feel are decent results and look forward to better success. Advice and comments are appreciated.

It looks like you got reasonably good results if these are your first attempts Rod.
I'm not the BIF/GIF expert many here are, but #s 2 & 4 appear to be the sharpest focus. To me at least the more pleasing images are also when the gull is at least perpendicular to you as in 2,4,5, & 6 and not quartering away as in 1, & 3. Go shoot a bunch more and we'll be waiting.....

You did pretty good, looks like your are shooting at the right shutter speed, and exposure looks fine to me.


... does it really matter?i see with my eyes, i shoot with my fingers.
