Still in the Winter doldrums here in Upstate New York.
The nice thing was that the sun was shining today!
I was set free for a bit this morning and below are a few snaps.
Nothing spectacular, but I will take what I can find at this point in time.

1: Mallard

No doubt that the gulls are my favourites here. Lovely shots of them. The last is real special I think. Well done, Shawn.

We have had it lucky here, it is supposed to be in the 60's this week, in February! 3 and 4 are my favorites , the water in 3 is a cool color, blue but black and clear, cool eye in theHerring. Well done!

Very good images Shawn. I know from bitter experience how hard it is to expose the white feathers right. You certainly managed there, lovely detail.

Always high quality captures Shawn and very enjoyable.
I love the color on the head of the Mallard; and based on it's shadow that was early or late light and low in the sky. Well done.
It's always interesting for me to see Gulls on the water. Being landlocked I guess I always envision them either IF or on a beach somewhere. The Herring Gull portrait is pretty near perfect; love the eye.

You've done nicely with your available subjects, Shawn. That Ring-Bill is really a crackin' shot, as is the Herring portrait.
