I wouldn't either--I've really been thinking of downsizing to the f/4 recently. The mk2 is all but useless as a long telezoom with a 2x attached anyhow.

I brought a 1.4 TC for the f4 the other day - I have not even taken it out of the box yet You can tell I'm just so keen these days

Honestly, the lens is better without it... if I were to downgrade to the 70-200 f/4 IS, I would NOT be using it with TCs. I would strictly be using the lens for its intended zoom range. Then again I've already got a 300 prime I use TCs with
