Love that pic, monkey-man! :D

Very nice indeed, though I think I would have liked a longer shutter.

Well, stop playing with your pickle then

Pickle stuffing is a long in depth procedure and takes about 17 minutes each. It took me 30 minutes a piece today to stuff the pickles and I only finished 8.

Save one for me.

These are reclaimed pickles and must be returned to the customer that sent them in. We don't mess around with out re branded pickles.

Yes you heard me correctly. We all have that old pickle jar wasting away in the back of the refrigerator or on the door. Now for a limited time Bob's will repackage and rebrand any old pickle product for the low price of $0.50 per pickle **plus shipping and handling**. That's right folks, we will open your old bottle inspect each pickle, pour some of BPE's juice in, reseal and relabel. So return 1 pickle or a whole bottle, heck even return that 1/2 eaten pickle today!

Use promo code "Martha Stewart" and get $.02 off per pickle on quantities of 20 or less.

**Allow 4-6 weeks for processing. $9.95 for shipping, and $0.10 per pickle handling. Domestic orders only, offer void in TN.**

Honestly, the lens is better without it... if I were to downgrade to the 70-200 f/4 IS, I would NOT be using it with TCs. I would strictly be using the lens for its intended zoom range. Then again I've already got a 300 prime I use TCs with :p

the TCs are not that bad. for $250 it helps out with the reach :P

Colors are fantastic in it. I'm curious though, when you do all that PP, what exactly do you do?

It would take a few pages to explain but, I'll give you short summary.

1) The RAWs that I choose for the blend is critical. I only do minor adjustments in LR and fix everything later( distortion, dust spots, etc.)
2) First is always WB and CA( if it's present). That is the only thing I correct since I can adjust the colors, hues, etc. later.
3) Next take it into PS and layer the three images one of top of the other.
4) Next, I use layer masks to blend in each image and brush in what I need. This is very tedious. If you're not patient with painting and blending, it's not going to be fun.
5) On top of that I add more adjustment layers. Contrast, sat, etc.
6) Once I get the image the image done to my liking, I check each layer to see if there's any fine detail that needs work. After that I merge into one.
7) After that, look at the entire image and fix any distortion and clean up the dust spots.
8) Reinspect the image at 100% crop to make sure I didn't miss any more dust spots. I know. I'm pretty anal.
9) If I need more adjustments, I'll usually add more contrast to give it more pop.
10) The final step is sharpening. I have different presets for web and various print sizes.
That's it. It's difficult to explain my workflow bcoz' it's not set in stone. :)
