I figured it out and it was easy for me day one. :p Seriously, it took me a few tries and finally understood what the lens as capable of. Idk what will happen to you when you finally get a FF camera.:lol:

i think it will help to get live view... so i can see what really going on.

I don't use LV unless there's a need for critical focus. For walking around, I pretty much know(by eye) how to keep things level. Train your eyes first to do this without LV and I guarantee you won't rely on it most of the time.

I have lived in NYC my whole life so I'm used to it. What I liked about Pasadena was how it felt close to everything. You have LA city center to the east, Santa Monica to the west and Malibu to the north. That made it very appealing to me when I was there.

Little old lady from Pasadena. ;)

I played with one ages ago before the 100L came out, I really loved it, between the 100L and the 100VR, id take the 100VR because its built a bit "Better"

FWIW though if i was buying a macro for pure macro usage id go for the Sigma 150mm f/2.8 OS, Length matters, especially on a FF cam

Oh ok. Thanks. I'm just doing a bit of window shopping atm. :) Also, I can see why length would matter.
