My son turned 5 months over the weekend and we took the time to get some shots of him. We're very lucky parents, he's easy going and loves to smile.

#2 is my fav for lighting, color, and shadows.

#3 looks harsh with the hot spots on the face and dark shadows. Direct flash?

Unfortunately yes. I was trying to add some fill but forgot to dial down when I moved in closer for that shot.
