I am thinking about ordering some batteries for my 20d and was wondering if the Canon charger will work or do i have to buy the Sterlingtek charger as well?

Hi Ben,
I have purchased several batteries from SterlingTek and they charge just fine on your Canon charger. No difference at all between these batteries and the Canon except more power from the SterlingTek ones. So, no need to invest in a new charger, just order away and they will charge fine on your existing charger.

To take your question the other way - I have a Sterlingtek charger in my car that works on 12V, and all I have are Canon batteries. I have charged my batteries with both Canon and Sterlingtek chargers, and I have not had a problem yet.

Have Fun,

Rick

Not only all that, but they're an easy company to deal with - even from the other side of the pond - my order was shipped promptly, and I received it 6 days after placing the order. I'm happy to recommend them :D

Aye, good company, good products, and all BP-511 products seem to be compatible.

Where did you see free shipping on orders for less than $60. Is there a coupon code to enter?

Darn, I have two batteries now for my 20D and I bought the one at SterlingTek as I really don't trust any other supplier of the batteries.

Kind of wish I needed one, darn it!;)

I have been shopping at SterlingTek for a couple years or so and can't imagine going anywhere else. In fact, I wouldn't!!!
