G1X and Basic Speedlight Series

I note the G1X manual only refers to 580X 11 and 270X 11 for use with the camera.

I have the 580X, 420X and 270X (note the sad lack of 11).

Will there be any problems using these flashes? One of the reasons I'm going down the G1X route is to be able to use my present Canon accessories ... huh!

Should be ok, camera works on the 580/430/320/270 units also canons own flash transmitter and ring flashes.
Thought your camera was arriving today!

So did I!!

However, it seems Moray is not on the UK Mainland (news to me who has lived here on and off since 1960) and so incurs postage of £9.99.

Needless to say, they never bothered to inform me although, IF I had studied meticulously the fine print I might have discovered where Moray is - according to our retailer friend.

Liked your images, like everyone, very keen to try out the night (low light) performance.
