A shot from the Fall of 2011 when this painted turtle took a last bit of sun on a warm Autumn day..Canon 7D and 500F4 with 1.4 XTC

A most excellent capture Gary!
The overall composition is pretty near perfect. I love the play of the turtle's colors against the color of the water and the fallen leaves, as well as the reflected colors of the turtle. As a matter of fact, the only thing I can find wrong is the misspelling in your thread title - :)
