Damn I just sent out my 7D for service yesterday. Would have loved to know the count.

Request Canon to get it for you, that's if you sent it to canon

Frankly, I don't care to know the shutter counts on my bodies because I'm responsible for every click both Good and Bad!

Haha...there's always hope for the future!! ;) (Though the 1D3 is up for sale and the 5Dc will be replaced by a 5D2 or a 5D3, so it won't matter to me by then lol)

(I'm already painfully aware of how many pixels I've killed along the way...)

It won't matter to you because you will be able to keep track from day one and you will fall into the title of this thread. Haha

Yes all mine. I shoot sporting events mostly. Some of the tournaments will have me shooting all day long. So far my 7d has been flawless. I hope the same is true of my newly acquired mkIV

Haha true...though if I go 5D2, it'll be used...kinda scared to buy new with how fast bodies lose their value in the first year or two.

Nicely done...and I think you'll love the 1D4...the 1D series are amazing cameras, especially for what you do!

They may have the same software that Canon does (or similar)...if they're an authorized service center...
