120728 shutter count

Pretty sure I have the record right now :)

Purchased December 8th 2009

Before you ask... Sports, birds in flight, time lapses.

I have never been rough to it; I just use it lots. Why baby something that is meant to be used :)

Thanks for developing this. Do you plan to offer a 1 time fee for any number of cameras?

edit: forgot to remove serial, not that its a big deal...

Gripped 7D, EF-S 18-135 (saving for 70-200 f/2.8 IS USM 2)

Not that I'm doubting your word, but a screen grab of that count would sure look cool!

I just checked my 1D IV shutter count. Not really sure if it was correct but it seems a little low to me:

Quick question, I have a T1i. I loaded fedora and vmware player. I ran the command got a count of 25457. I then fired off 5 shots and and it still reads the same.

Any ideas ?

I welcome C & C as it's on of the biggest ways I'll improve.

EOSCount should work in Windows 8 in desktop version of IE. The only difference from Windows 7 is that you'd have to download the .msi installer and install EOSCount control manually (if you point the desktop version of IE to http://eoscount.com (external link) you will see the instructions).

There are a couple of other free shutter count programs out there, so I'm not sure why anyone would want to pay. Since it's so cheap maybe it's just easier to use EOS count.

it is easy, but who wants to pay $1.50 for every single device? Check the same device again in a year, and you'll be charged the same $1.50 fee.

OR pay $4.50 and check one camera for an unlimited number of times: http://eoscount.com/FAQ.aspx#unlimited_option (external link)
