I'm sure this has been stated somewhere in the 44 pages of this thread, but can someone point me in the direction of a way to determine shutter count on a 6D. EOScount.com doesn't seem to support the 6D.

For the 6D you could try Magic Lantern That's what I initially used for my 5D3.

Or you could try gphoto2 if you have a Mac or LINUX. I couldn't get it to work on my Mac so I used Magic Lantern

Tried this on my T4i but the site didn't even recognize I plugged in the camera.

Edit: Downloaded shutteractuations... that is saying error too. Strange. Wonder why. The computer recognizes it as what it is but the programs don't.

Edit again: Must have been the computer. Tried it on another and it worked. Oh well.

i tried to use myshuttercount.com to check the shutter life of my 600D at it says that shutter count is not available. why is that? can anyone help me?

I've tried both shutteractuations and eoscount. Neither work.

When I open the ShutterCount (from shutteractuations.com) it first says, "Please connect camera to USB". Then, when I click "connect" it says, "Error Connection Camera".

Anyone have any insight? The website doesn't have any troubleshooting that I can find.

My camera shows up in my computer. I can go into the DCIM folder and view all my pictures. I have a 5dm3.
