The link I provided (https://shuttercheck.app/ No, iOS is Apple's mobile operating system and is not the same thing as macOS. So I suggested ShutterCount as an iOS app (for new Canon models). iOS is smaller and not as complex as a full desktop OS. It supports ARM chips instead of Intel and all peripheral drivers. It can't run full programs that aren't apps you get from iTunes store. These are just some examples as to why a mobile OS is different then a desktop OS. Instead of names, iOS versions are also referred to by number (iOS 12 just came out). Canon 5D mk IV
