This is the second time I've ever seen a bald eagle in the wild, and the first time that it was close enough to tell what it was without binoculars. I was walking down a trail to go out to the boardwalk over the alligator march at Fontainebleau State Park when a bunch of people in front of me stopped abruptly. I didn't know what it was, and I saw a little woodpecker in a tree and I thought it was that until I looked a little higher and saw this eagle. All the shots are taken with my 70-200, so they're fairly heavy crops, but I just have to share my first decent eagle pictures. They're nothing special from a technical standpoint, but I like them nonetheless.
