Exif intact. Horizon off a bit in #5 - take care of that later.

So much more effective when you freeze them completely rather than just "squeaking by" at a lower ISO where nothing is really stopped cold and extremities have that annoying "Almost" blur...

Nicely Done!!

These shots look great also but you have a couple of focus issues. In the 4th shot (also please try to number your images, it makes it easier for us to give you feedback on specific shots) the player behind the action is in focus while the guy with the ball is not. #5 is not in focus but #6 is dead on.

Overall though, nice work!

Thanks. I will keep an eye out for those things. I think I will go with ISO 8000 and SS 800 next time.

I plan to do ISO 8000 with 800 SS to make sure to freeze the ball. There's a championship game tonight at the same gym.

No reason to be afraid of 8000 on the Mark IV.

Here is one sample with full pix's:

Can't wait until I "have" to buy the 1DX.

I use LR3

Dwarrenr, I always tried to keep ISO as low as possible, but with the 1D4 as well as the 5D2, I don't even care or think about it anymore. Whatever I need to get the shot is what I use.

The 1DX will be a hit it seems, but no AF f8 for a wildlife photographer like me is like no 500, 600 or 800mm lens, but time will tell because I am sure wildlife shooters will take the plunge, but I will await the reviews for now.

Thanks for checking me out.
