I'm a little rusty. Took a class about 6 months ago and forgot everything I've learned. I have 3 alien bees with a wireless flash. I remember I need to shoot in M and when I take a picture, my flashed don't fire. What settings should I be at. I was at 2.8, ISO was 1/30 alway up to 1/2000. I tried many different settings and still nothing. What am I doing wrong? In P they worked.

What method were you using to trigger the flashes? Do you have a wireless trigger, or were you using your popup flash?

Wireless trigger. I ran into the same thing with my 550. The only way I could have my flash fire was if it were in auto mode.

yeah it depends on which triggers you're using, you might be forgetting to connect the sync wire for the flash strobe, and lastly set the right channel for the transceiver and the receiver so they are on the same channel.
